Last week while in preparation for Sunday the Lord spoke to me and said to "prepare for His Glory". God is about to unleash a move of the Spirit, a revelation of His Glory in the Earth, something of the magnitude that this generation(for the most part) has not seen or tasted. My heart was so thrilled to hear those things as God's Presence came into the room during my devotional time with Him. He spoke so clearly to my spirit I know beyond a shadow of a doubt there is something God is about to unleash in churches that are open to recieving all that He desires to do.
Sunday's message on "The Glory of God" was a time of reminding ourselves of the nature of who God is and that we were created to experience His Glory. Moses was a man that had seen all the riches that the world had to offer growing up in Pharaohs Palace. He was raised up as Israel's deliverer and was leading them to the promise land when he came to a crossroads. In Exodus 32 God let Moses know that he would be sending an angel to escort them on their journey to the promised land. At first thought, this is not such a bad deal, an angel of the Lord. All throughout the Word of God great men and women have had angelic visitations that changed them forever. But Moses had tasted of something greater on Mt. Sinai that forever changed him(Ex.19). Moses then answered the Lord, we won't go unless your Presence will go with us, what else will distinguish us from all other people? God answers Moses by saying he would go with him. WOW, that is incredible, God's Presence going before them! But reading the Scriptures, it was almost if Moses already had his mind made up about what he really wanted. The next verse he states, "now show me your Glory". Can you see the progression of the pursuit of Moses from and angel, to the Presence, then to the Glory. Moses distinguished here different levels of encountering God. God's response was incredible, we see His heart and desire for us to encounter His Glory is greater than ours(we see this in Ex. 19 with Israel). He Shows Moses His Glory!
There is a Glory of God being released into the earth, for hearts that are hungry for him, hearts as Moses that say, "show us your glory". Nothing else satisfies!

This past Sunday Pastor Brandon Watkiss preached a message on hearing God's voice. He gave some great insight and instruction on hearing the voice of God. This is an area for every believer to continue to grow and understand as God is continually desiring to speak into our lives. Well the other night we finished up the indoor flag football season making it to the big dance. Out of twenty teams it came down to us and the team we played last year in the championship game. The game was back and forth and we had a great time. They edged us out by a score to win the game. Overall this was a great season and I had a blast, although i get a little more sore every year. My biggest fans were in the stands cheering me on (Joie, Evan, Addie and Ava), gotta love those fans!

We continued Sunday on the message of God's Grace/Favor. The Favor of God is one of the most misunderstood and misrespresented principles in the Bible. In the passage of Joseph we see the Favor of God on his life. Even in the midst of bad circumstances Favor as always working on the inside!
Every time Joseph was stripped of his outward coat, the Favor of God was working on the inside of him to bring him into a new place and one step closer to seeing the dream God had given him come to pass. First his father gave him a coat of favor, it was stripped by his brothers. Then to Potiphers house where he was given a coat of Favor, it was stripped by Potiphers wife. Then to the prison where he would be called on by Pharaoh. Pharaoh ordered his head be shaved and a new robe be put on him before stepping into the Palace. Even when it may seem your favor outwardly has been stripped, don't worry God's favor is working on the inside of you! Favor can't stay hidden long and Joseph came through a series of hardships into being the greatest influence in the earth. That's Favor!
At the end of Genesis Joseph talks ultimately about the prpose of Favor. He says I went through all of that to see "the saving of many lives." We are about to see an end time harvest in the earth, but before we do there will be a Favor released into the body of Christ to see the the saving of many lives.
