evan_on_qaud.jpgEvan is learning to ride quads and he is doing great. He rode behind Joie and I last night while we were riding quads on the farm. I had to laugh because Joie was saying how hard it was to let him do this, to which I jokingly said "you have to let go honey" Many of our young adults went off to college this past week, keep them in prayer, but also don't forget the parents!

We started a series on the renewed mind. What a blessing to see so many being touched by the Word of God. What an impact our minds can have upon every area of our lives. The Bible says that as a man thinks in his heart so he is.

We see this in the lives of the Israelites when they came out of Egypt they continued to wrestle with mindsets that eventually removed them from the promise. Just like the Israletites we can think with wrong mindsets and develop wrong thinking that can remove us from our promise. The enemy can never steal your promise, so he'll try to get you to move from belief to doubt. He couldn't take Israel's promiseland, but if he could work in the battlefield of their minds and get a foothold he could surely get them to reomve themselves, and that's just what they did!

How many times have you wrestled in your mind with thoughts contrary to God's Word or His promise to you. I love this passage in Isaiah 26:3 "You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, becausse he trusts in you. Trust in him today, keep your mind set on the good things of God and what He has spoken in his Word for you.

We have been in series as a body on the subject of "Faith". You can also listen online in the "previously from the pulpit" area.

There are many things in this World today that people have placed their faith in, for instance a job, an economy, a political party or system, even people. But in all these areas we have the the potential for disappointment. Jesus said these words in Mark 11:22 "Have Faith in God", showing us that God and God alone is the only one whom we can truly place our faith in.

God desires a complete trust and abandonment to Him and His ability to bring us through every circumstance in this life. We must look to the one who is "Faithful and True". In the book of Hebrews 11 it says of Sarah, that "she judged Him Faithful who had made the promise"

When you look back in Genesis 18, we see that Sarah had wrestled with the Faithfulness of God, the Bible says that upon hearing God say to Abraham that Sarah would have a child in her old age she "laughed". At some point in her walk of Faith she had to look beyond the visible and believe God to be Faithful to what he had promised her.

Whatever it is in your life your may be facing today, consider Him faithful, get your eyes off your circumstance on onto Him who is Faithful and True!!

tentpic.jpgGod continues to show up and show off as nightly meetings continue @ the Weirton Tent Revival meetings. Last night there was a testimony of a women that had received prayer for healing. She had lost all strength in her vocal cords due to various surgeries. The next day she contacted one of the pastors and was praising God with her vocal cords restored! People continue to give there lives to Christ, recommit to Christ, receive healing, as well as other areas of breakthrough. Praise Jesus, He's All that!

Every night has been marked by Salvation's, deliverance of substance abuse, Healing, and baptisms of the Holy Spirit. Last night at the close of the service Pastor Bob Mazeroski prayed for a fresh Baptism of the Holy Spirit to fill those present. The altars were packed with those ready to receive. As Pastor prayed the Spirit of God fell mightily as many were filled with the baptism of the Holy Spirit and many more receiving a fresh baptism.

Every night seems to increase in attendance as well as in increase of the power of God. Come on out and you will be touched by what God is doing!
